Best Reef Perfume for Fall: We Ranked the Whole Lineup

Reef Perfumes is a Saudi house with a big, loyal fan base. We carry most of the line, and not every Reef scent suits fall.

1. Reef Blanc Ash

Reef's North America site lists Blanc Ash for "evening wear, cooler weather" and says it reminds them of Maison Francis Kurkdjian Grand Soir. That is as fall as it gets.

One Fragrantica reviewer called it "surprisingly warm, with rich, glossy vanilla and amber tones." Another said it is "really loud and fills a room," while a third said it did not last on them. Our pick for the best Reef this fall.

2. Reef 33

The flagship. Saffron and rosemary over a smooth oud. Reef's site calls it spicy, woody and "smoky and deep."

Reef does not name a season for it, and Fragrantica reviewers wear it day and night. Many compare it to Gissah Imperial Valley, though some say it does not smell the same. It works from September through winter, which is why it is our best all-rounder.

3. Reef 33 White

Reef lists 33 White for winter and bold evenings, so it fits late fall best. Reef compares it to Baccarat Rouge 540 with a fruity twist.

Reviewers see it differently. One Fragrantica reviewer said: take Amouage Interlude, remove the incense and add berries. Another called it "very different to the original Reef 33, which is more loud and sharp." Pick this if you want sweet over spicy.

4. Reef Obaiah

Reef calls Obaiah a night scent for standing out, and compares it to Creed Aventus. Fragrantica lists it as Abaya Arabs.

Reviewers there compare it to Gissah Imperial Valley instead, and one said it feels like Reef 33 crossed with Lattafa Qaed Al Fursan. The pineapple opening splits people. Save it for fall nights out.

5. Princess Reef

Reef says perfumer Hamid Kashani composed this one. It moves from citrus into Damask rose, then settles into amber, vanilla and leather.

One Fragrantica reviewer said it reminded them of Carolina Herrera Good Girl Blush, but spicier. Another said it hardly smells like it at all. Reviewers say the leather stays strong, which gives it a nice fall edge.

6. Reef Titan

Titan is a great scent, just not a fall one. Reef itself recommends it for spring and summer and compares it to Versace Eros.

A Fragrantica reviewer described it as "fruity, fresh and sweet." Wear it on warm September days, then put it away until spring.
